Tori Vasquez

Tori Vasquez is a West Texas siren, a young and amazingly gifted singer-songwriter born in Shallowater, Texas and raised in a family of musicians and songwriters. At the age of 22 she has found her voice. Her soulful melodies and honest lyrics are inspiring audiences to discover the power and beauty of storytelling in music. Her latest video “Wear You Thin”, released in February 2013, showcases Tori’s powerful, warm, beautiful voice and sexy, sultry presence. Texas Monthly highlighted Tori as one of the “8 MUST SEE ARTISTS AT SXSW 2013”. “Tori Vasquez’s voice covers some impressively wide emotional territory, from provocative to vulnerable” (Andy Langer, Texas Monthly, March 2013). Tori is currently in the studio finishing her debut full-length album, set to be released in the Summer of 2013. A national tour launches in April 2013 taking Tori across the US to include debut performances in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Denver, Minneapolis, St Louis and more. While performing at Antone’s in Austin, Texas, she was discovered by Brando Records, Austin based indie label home of Blue October and IAMDYNAMITE, and was immediately signed and put into the studio to record her debut EP “Let It Go”. Tori Vasquez was already headlining West Texas clubs and word was quickly spreading across Texas about this special new voice. In 2012, Tori toured internationally with amazing debut performances in London, Berlin, Glasgow, Munich, Manchester, and more, capturing new fans across the pond. Tori returned from Europe to Lubbock, Texas, packed her bags and headed straight to Austin where she currently resides. 2013 will be a magic year for Tori Vasquez.
